Just had a really good weekend.
spent saturday arvo with Peta, shopping, coffeeing, talking.  was great. i bought some Birkenstocks, my very first pair and my first purchase in a while now.  they are the green gumbooty ones.  urban outfitters was a temptation i could have gone without but i still have my money safely in my bank account so i have more strength than i give myself credit for.
sunday was a great day.  spent the morning drinking chai and listening to madeleine peyroux in the sun.  was so sweet.  work was good too.  the sunday folk are the very best i think.  niamh for gossip, bartec for silly bordering on bizarre conversation. good music to dance to and less customers, more play time.  the cutest and tiniest little indian man came in dressed in a suit and bow tie and asked me if i had seen Tom Baker come in.  i asked him if he meant Tom Baker aka Dr. Who Tom Baker and he said yes, that he was looking for him, he met him in 1974 and he is a wonderful wonderful friend, the best man he ever knew. maybe a fellow time traveler. He said he had just been to Soho and was told there that he would find Tom Baker in Covent Garden.  i told him that i was sorry i hadn't seen him but i wished him good luck and he thanked me and wished me a wonderful day.  i felt sorry for him, he was rather old, but so sweet.

major MAJOR missing of jan too.  soon though, soon.
